A dozen Christian vets met up together on the second morning of the London Vet Show in November to get to know one another and catch up with old friends. It was the first such meeting at the show, but we hope it will pave the way for many more.

The show hosts had kindly allowed us the use of one of their rooms to meet in for an hour on the Friday morning. It was a very informal time of chatting and fellowship and the chance to share together. It was great a great mixture of people representing folk in general practice – employers and employees -, those working in the state veterinary service, the army, secretarial work, and those on maternity leave!

It is a great opportunity for busy vets and vet nurses, especially if they are unable to make the VCF conferences, to know of other Christians in the profession and to share ideas, prayer requests etc.

Our prayer is to begin to have a presence at all of the major conferences. Your prayers would be really appreciated and if you feel led to help to financially support what has been shown to be a very valuable area of the ministry, please do get in touch.
