Before the dust could settle on the VCF Northern Conference, other members gathered at the Shillingford Bridge Hotel near Oxford for the VCF Southern Conference.
Our speaker for the weekend was Revd Robert Jones who helped us look at practical ways of listening to God in our daily lives (see page 7).

Again, copious coffee and cake allowed for times to just sit and chat with one another, to strengthen existing friendships and to make new ones.

With 55 people, there was room to stretch out and enjoy the comforts of the lovely hotel. The hills of Cumbria were replaced by the picturesque views across the Thames; the ceilidh, by a great evening of games, hot chocolate and more cake!

It has been lovely to see the worship group grow together over a number of years, each year adding a new member! What a blessing to share together as the family of God with the common bond of our profession.
