Once again Mike and Marcia Christian opened their home and extended their incredible hospitality to host the Veterinary Christian Fellowship Northern Conference.

With a turnout of up to 50, from vet students to those who have retired, it was a wonderful mixture of talents, ages and interests and the numerous spouse added to the variety of interests, skills and view points.

Friday night folk arrived and were able to begin to get to know one another over a curry and pizza before a time of worship and Tim Proudlove leading on the first session of Proverbs (see below).

Saturday began with worship led by a wonderful mixture of musicians before Tim delved further into Proverbs. The afternoon included a fabulous hill walk, further teaching and finally culminated in the infamous Ceilidh!.

Sunday morning saw Hebron Evangelical  Church invaded by 10 car loads of extras as Tim, who is an Elder at the Church, gave the final talk on Proverbs as the sermon in the service.

Aside from Tim’s amazing teaching, the weekend provided an opportunity for friends to be made and for others to be nurtured and grown. It is awesome to see the way God is moving through His people and we pray that this will be a mustard seed that will go back into the universities, workplaces, churches and lives of all those who attended so they really will see “Gods love shared through veterinary medicine”
