What an incredible blessing and privilege it has been for all of us on the VCF committee and in the wider VCF family to be praying for all of the amazing folk who have graduated this year. Some we have known for 5 years or more, through links with the university Christian Unions, VCF conferences, regional groups and EMS practice, and every one has been on our hearts and in our prayers.
As they move on from university to whatever area of work God has placed them in, please be praying for them individually that they will know God close to them, leading, guiding, teaching and supporting them.
In a profession where hours are long, work is busy and weekends full, may they not lose that precious time to be close to God and know the joy of Him in everything they do.

And for us, may we be God’s hands and feet, supporting these precious people as they move on. May we offer, either individually or through regional groups, etc. hospitality, encouragement, practical support, mentoring and a listening ear, and share in the joy of the amazing profession into which they are moving. As they, like all of us, represent God in the place where he has put them, may we pray for them to be great lights to those around.

But the Counsellor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid
John 14:26-27
