How To Apply

The ethos of my practice is of caring and compassion within our small local community and I am looking for applicants who share that sense of service. We are blessed with a very loyal nursing team and clientele. We have always employed relatively new graduates in the past and we aim to provide the ideal supportive environment for them to find their feet, develop their skills and build up a close relationship with clients and their animals at their own pace. We do our own out of hours cover on a one in four rota. We chose to do this as many of our clients are our friends and we think it important to be there for them at their time of need, whenever that is! Having said that, we are a small practice and out of hours tends to be quiet and undemanding.
Our long established independent small animal practice in Tonbridge seeks a full-time fourth vet due to an increasing workload.
- Well-equipped single centre practice with loyal and bonded clients.
- Experienced and supportive clinical team including RVS certificate holder
- 15 minute appointments and dedicated nursing support.
- Fantastic location for outdoor pursuits and excellent train links to London.
- VetsNow cover OOH, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings with time off in lieu.
- Competitive salary, 5 days funded CPD and 25 days annual leave.
We are looking for a cheerful vet with at least 3 years of small animal experience and a dedicated approach to client and patient care.
A surgical bias would be advantageous.
There are lots of lively welcoming Churches locally so you can soon feel part of the local community. The schools are excellent at both primary and secondary level. The town is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and it is easy to get out into the countryside. There are very good road and rail links and Gatwick airport is less than an hour's drive away.
