VCF is beginning a time of change as we continue to seek God’s will for the direction of the fellowship.

At the heart of this there will also be a number of changes and additions to the VCF Committee.

Following many years of amazing service, David Soldan is stepping down as Missionary Secretary to spend more time with his family. He has been a highly valued member of the committee and his gentle wisdom has helped guide VCF for many years.

He will be replaced by Mary Kim, a face that many will have seen in the VCF prayer booklet. With experience of working in Uganda and having spent recent years in South Korea getting to know her husband’s family there, she has a great understanding of working and living overseas and will be a valuable asset.

Following the very sad and sudden death of much loved David Bee in July of last year, the International role on the committee has been vacant. This will now be filled by Vikki Wyse who has done a number of trips to Mongolia with Vet Net and so understands well the role of short term missions overseas.

A new role has also been created, that of a Student / New graduate representative, to better reflect the needs and concerns of this group of members.  You can read more about this role and Hannah and see how she will be ideally suited for the role.

We look forward to each of these new members not only being involved with their specific role but also for the very valuable part they will play on the committee as a whole.

We hope as we take these, and other steps, forward as a committee that you will truly partner with us so that working together, encouraging and supporting one another we can share Christ’s love through veterinary medicine.
